Kris Allen is a good kisser.

Something in your eyes was so inviting,

Something in your smile was so exciting,

Something in my heart,

Told me I must have you.

Kris Allen is a good kisser.

Adam has kissed a lot of people—people who knew exactly what they were doing, but this kiss is somehow more exciting than any that came before. It should be tame; hell, it should be boring—he is kissing a straight guy with all their clothes still on—but his heart is beating madly in his chest and he is breathless, and it feels like he is hovering above the ground. Except, if he were, their lips would have dislodged for sure; Kris is so much shorter than him. Adam pulls him even closer against his body, fitting them tighter together, and sighs into Kris’ open mouth. Kris is perfect, just the way he is.

Kris' hands are gripping his hair, fingers digging into his scalp, pulling him down further into the kiss and Adam goes willingly. They are going too fast, it's too much, and they'll have to slow down soon, but Adam can't bring himself to pull away yet. He takes everything Kris can give until they are both panting too hard to keep on kissing. When he pulls back, Kris’ eyes are glazed. He looks damn sexy.

Adam places a firm kiss on his lips. “Bedroom,” he says.

Kris nods and leads the way.

Kris turns on the bedside lamp and kicks a couple of shirts under the bed. It’s awkward, and it should be, considering the fact that they’ve known each other for all of a day. Adam has done the occasional one-night stand before and never felt weird about it, but this is a completely different situation. Kris isn’t just a fuck. In fact, Adam has a feeling that Kris is quite the opposite.

If it were up to Kris, he would probably stand around and look abashed all night, so Adam takes pity on him and takes the initiative. Taking his t-shirt off and throwing it away, he strides over to Kris and cups his face in his hands. Kris looks up at him with big, brown eyes; an impossible mixture of hot and innocent, and Adam lets their mouths meet again, this time in a slow and sweet kiss.

He unbuttons Kris’ shirt and pushes it down, running his hands down Kris' arms and then back up his chest. The skin under his hands is unreasonably soft and smooth; Adam takes his time exploring every inch of it. After the teasing he suffered all day, he considers it his due.

Adam doesn’t ask Kris if he has ever done this before. He knows Kris hasn’t; there’s no point in talking about that. After all, Kris doesn't seem bothered by the newness of it all, just a bit wide-eyed, and not in a bad way, and in the end that's all that matters. But it shouldn't really be a surprise that Kris is as easy-going with sex as he is with everything else. It’s just the way he’s wired it seems. And Adam has no idea how Kris wasn’t already taken, but there is no way he’s giving him back now.

They get a bit overenthusiastic as they work on undoing each other’s jeans, and Adam ends up pulling Kris’ hands away in frustration and placing them in his hair, telling him to keep them there. Kris gives him a wicked grin and pulls him by the hair into a quick kiss.

It’s kind of scary how Adam likes everything about this guy. He likes his hair, his lips, his smile, his chest, and god, does he ever like his cock. It’s perfect in Adam’s hand, just right in every way, and when Adam strokes him, learning and exploring, Kris makes the most adorable noises, his face going slack and soft and dreamy.

Watching him bite his lip and flutter his lashes, Adam thinks that he will probably end up falling madly in love with this guy unless he finds out he is an axe murderer or something. Either eventuality seems scary, but Adam feels an overwhelming excitement build inside him all the same.

He pushes Kris down on the bed and pulls his jeans off, taking a moment to take in the way he looks completely naked. Kris smiles up at him sweetly, looking inexplicably seductive just like that, and Adam almost gets tangled up in his own jeans in his hurry to follow him.

The bed smells like Kris, and it’s like sensory overload when their skins make contact, completely naked against each other for the first time. Kris chokes on a laugh and wraps his legs around Adam, his hands petting Adam’s hair, lips kissing whatever they can reach. Adam feels giddy and carefree, like nothing outside the room matters, and he lets himself forget all about their very different, very separate lives for a moment. He buries his face in Kris’ neck like he pictured doing a million times that day and breathes him in.

Kris moves against him, completely lost in the act, and Adam follows his lead. It’s a tangle of hands and mouths, hot breath against burning skin, bodies sliding, slick with sweat. Adam works a hand between them to take control of things, because damn it all to hell, he is better than this. He knows all the tricks, every move in the book. He wanted this to be impressive, not fumbling, but as soon as he touches him, Kris lets out a long moan and comes, throwing his head back and shutting his eyes tight. It’s a killer combination, the smell of sex and the sight of Kris’ face, his come warm and slippery between Adam’s fingers, his hands still holding onto Adam’s arms. Adam doesn’t stand a chance.

"You alive?" Adam asks, his head propped up on his elbow, prodding Kris with a finger.

"No," Kris says with a smile. His eyes are still closed. "You killed me."

"Oh, that was nothing," Adam says, putting his head on Kris’ shoulder. “That was just to take the edge off.”

Kris chuckles softly and puts his arm around Adam’s shoulder, pulling him closer.

“So,” Adam says conversationally. “This was kind of sudden.”

Kris snickers. “You think?”

Adam bites his neck playfully. “Shut up. I don’t exactly do this every day.”

“Well, yeah. I would hope not.”

Adam trails his fingers down Kris’ side, tracing his hipbone, and then takes Kris’ hand in his, playing absently with his fingers. “I don’t really know anything about you, you know. Or you, about me.”

“Well,” Kris says. “I’m from Arkansas. I have one brother, one very annoying neighbor—” Adam chuckles. “—I sort of have a cat who shows up at the fire escape from time to time. And uhm. I like music, but you know that one.”

“And not fond of seafood, I know that too,” Adam chimes in.

“Yeah,” Kris says happily. “See, that’s a good start considering we haven’t even been on a date yet.”

“Today doesn’t count?”

“Nah, I don’t think so. I mean, I wouldn’t take Allison with me on a date. But I invited you to breakfast, so that will be our first date, I think.”

Adam rises up on his elbows. “So you’re also kind of slutty, putting out before the first date.”

“That was all your influence,” Kris says with a completely serious expression.

Adam grins down at him. “Ah, corrupting the innocent. Just my thing.” He leans down for a kiss. “But I can do so much better.”
